Khwai Trail

Your professional guide will pick you up early morning between 05h00-06h00 where you would have spent the night, either at a lodge or a hotel or by the airport in Maun. You will be guided by a well and sufficiently trained professional guide who is well versed on the terrains and wildlife for the next two days. An open sided,4*4 vehicle will be used for the trip to drive to Moremi game reserve where you will embark on game drives for a day, in the morning and afternoon on the floodplains and other beautiful scenery of the locality. The terrains make game viewing a great adventure and a great value for money.
While out in the bush, lunch will be prepared and served, then continue game drives in Moremi all the way up to the Khwai area. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Khwai at your camp where you will refresh and take a shower. A chef will prepare an excellent dinner cooked over the campfire. You will have a chance to sit and relax and share experiences of the journey around the campfire.

After awaking up from your camp in the bush, you take a short breakfast and embark on your first game drive in Khwai area where there’s plenty of wildlife. The day will be full of excitement, viewing game and a small time will be spent on lunch and snacks. After a long and wonderful day, in the evening you will once more enjoy a well-cooked supper over the campfire and once again relax and enjoy the evening around the campfire.

On day 3, you wake up and have breakfast. After breakfast you will enjoy a mokoro (Traditional dugout canoe) trail or excursion into the channels of the delta. A poler will be transporting you around and the guide will also lead and show you the scenery and the beauty of the water channels. After spending the morning time on the mokoro, you will have a light lunch at your camp. After lunch you will once more continue your trip with game drives in the Khwai area and later in the afternoon you return to Maun with unforgettable memories and lots of pictures and videos.
